Welcome to KIRELAY! These guidelines help everyone enjoy a respectful and creative environment for collaborative storytelling.

By using the service you agree to follow these rules in addition to our Terms of Service.

• Treat others with courtesy and respect.
• Do not harass, bully, or threaten other users.
• Avoid personal attacks, hate speech, or discriminatory language.

• Do not use the service to create, share, or promote unlawful content or activity.
• Do not threaten or incite violence or illegal acts.
• Do not involve minors in sexual or exploitative ways.
• Do not encourage self-harm, suicide, or dangerous behavior.

• Content that promotes hatred or discrimination against protected groups is prohibited.
• Do not glorify or trivialize violence, including graphic descriptions aimed to shock or disturb.

• Any sexual or suggestive content involving minors (real or fictional) is strictly prohibited.
• Do not post content that could be interpreted as sexualizing minors.

• Only post content you have the right to use.
• Do not copy or adapt others’ work without permission unless permitted by an open license.
• If you believe your rights are infringed, follow the infringement complaint guide.

KIRELAY is built around shared, branching stories.

• Add relays that meaningfully contribute to the story instead of spam or nonsense.
• Do not intentionally derail or abuse other users’ stories.
• Respect tone and direction set by the original author and participants.
• You may create alternative branches, but do not use them to harass or target others.

• Do not share private or sensitive information about yourself or others in public areas.
• Do not attempt to collect or publish others’ personal information without consent.

• Avoid repetitive or irrelevant content.
• Do not advertise unrelated products or services without permission.
• Do not impersonate others or misrepresent your identity or affiliation.

Use the report function where available or contact us with links or screenshots if you see violations.

We may remove or restrict content, issue warnings, limit posting abilities, or suspend or ban accounts.

If you believe a moderation decision is mistaken, you may contact us with an explanation and details.

Previous actions may remain in effect during review, and not every decision will be reversed.

We may update the guidelines and adjust the “Last updated” date with additional notice when appropriate.
